> **Direct answer:** Ready-made Grok Bots are shared as `x.ai/bot/` links. [Bot Store](/grok-bot-templates) collects public ones by job, so you can compare them first. Open the official link and choose **Add to Grok Bot** in the app to get your own copy.

## What is a Grok Bot template?

A template is a Bot someone else set up and shared: its identity, description, skills, and routines. Adding it copies that setup into your own account. The creator's computer, logins, and conversation history do not come with it. Read [how to add a shared Grok Bot](/academy/how-to-add-a-shared-grok-bot-template) for what is copied.

## Where can I find premade Grok Bots?

- **By job:** browse [all Grok Bot templates](/grok-bot-templates), or a shelf such as [Sales](/category/sales), [Research](/category/research), or [Work](/category/work).
- **Most useful first:** the [best Grok Bots](/best-grok-bots) list is our editorial shortlist.
- **Newest:** [new Grok Bots](/new-grok-bots) shows what was listed most recently.
- **By maker:** [makers](/makers) groups Bots by the person who built them.

Every free listing links to the official `x.ai/bot/` page, so you add the real template, not a copy of a copy.

## How do I pick a good one?

- **One clear job.** “Scores inbound leads and flags what is stuck” beats “AI assistant for business.”
- **Says what it will not do.** Good Bots wait for your yes before sending, buying, posting, or deleting.
- **Names its inputs.** A CRM export, a pasted list, a URL. If you do not have the input, it will not help.
- **Shows its maker.** A named maker you can look up is easier to trust.

Before you add one, check what it asks for and give it the narrowest access that still works.

## How do I add a template to Grok Bot?

Open the listing, follow its `x.ai/bot/` link, review what it does, then choose **Add to Grok Bot**. You need the Grok Bot app installed and signed in. Then give your new copy one small, real task before you connect more accounts.

## Are Grok Bot templates free?

Many are free to add. Some makers charge for a Bot, and the price shows on the listing before you pay. Using any Bot still counts against your own Grok Bot plan's weekly usage. See [Grok Bot plans and pricing](/academy/grok-bot-plans-pricing-and-usage).

## Can I share my own Grok Bot?

Yes. Share it from the Grok Bot app to get an `x.ai/bot/` link, then [list it on Bot Store](/academy/how-to-list-a-grok-bot-on-bot-store) so people looking for that job can find it. Check the [safe sharing checklist](/academy/how-to-share-a-grok-bot-safely) first.
